Brooke School event helps youngsters plan for the future
The transition into adulthood event covers many areas of the young person’s life. It includes education and employment training, work, housing, health needs, day opportunities, finances and benefits, relationships and other key life skills.
And New Directions have said that they believe transition preparation can begin as early as year 9 and continue to the age of 25 for those with learning difficulties.
