Speeding driver arrested in Warwick after positive roadside tests

A speeding driver was arrested in Warwick after providing positive roadside tests.
The Operational Patrol unit for Warwickshire, known as OPU Warwickshire, posted on their Facebook page on Monday morning (September 14) about stopping the car.
The car, which was a Golf, was stopped in Coventry Road.

Hide AdOfficers said that the driver provided two positive roadside tests - one for drugs and one for alcohol.
The post said: "The driver tested positive on a roadside drugs wipe as well as a positive breath test.
"He was arrested and taken to custody where a blood sample has been taken to be sent away for analysis.
"The results will give an exact measurement of the amount of drugs and alcohol in the driver's system."
