Leamington pub has helped charities and good causes to raise £10k in three years
Since landlady Michelle Ramsay took over the Windmill Inn in Tachbrook Road in August 2012 she and organiser and staff member Amanda Smith have hosted events for charities or good causes chosen by customers.
These have included The ABC Club, Age UK, the MS Society, Bishops Tachbrook Youth Club, Breakthrough Breast Cancer, Leamington Irish Music Group, Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research, Lillington Juniors FC, Macmillan Cancer Support, Leamington Rehabilitation Hospital, The Myton Hospices, Project Peru and Woodside Residential Home.

The events are usually quizzes with resident quiz master Ian Shurvington and are usually themed around the cause.
Each quiz is finished with a trick question.
The pub also took part in the Myton Hospices Take 50 challenge in May and raised more than £1,000.
This year the Windmill has focused on supporting Macmillan and its final Christmas Quiz for the charity will take place on Friday December 20.
Lloyds Bank is match funding the event and have added £500 to the £1.000 which has already been raised.
