Volunteers in Harbury who took over the running of their library and set up a cafe alongside to fund it have been recognised as winners of this year’s Spirit of Harbury award.
Since opening a year ago, the self-funding venture - run by a committee of ten and around 100 volunteers - has had 60,000 visits and served 6,000 cups of tea or coffee.
