Curtis finds top gear to clock a new personal best at Silverstone
Curtis finished in 37th position and seventh MV45 in a new personal best of 37:02.
Neil Sheward was next home for Kenilworth in 64th and fourth MV50 in (38:37).

Hide AdIan Baynes clocked a new PB of 41:12 for 158th, with fellow Runners Tom Williams (45:48) and Tom Dable (51:42) 369th and 689th, respectively.
For the ladies, Louise Andrews ran an excellent race to finish first LV40 in a PB of 41:49, while Angela Dowden was 12th WV50 in 53:42 and Pauline Dable third LV65 in 54:49.
The Dables were given race numbers one and two in recognition of having made the most appearances in the East Midlands Grand Prix Series.
Spa Striders duo Chris McKeown (37:31) and Andrew Graham (41:08) made their return to short-course racing at Silverstone after their recent marathon exploits, while Jamie Langley was a fine 16th for Leamington C&AC in 35:14.

Hide AdTeenage clubmate Kieran Chahal clocked a superb 36:20 for 26th, with Ben Tawney (39:39) dipping under the 40-minute mark.
Coventry Godiva Harriers’ Toby Spencer was first home in 31:24.

Louise Andrews continued her prolific race form on Sunday, finishing third lady in the Bosworth Half Marathon in Leicestershire in a time of 1:35:50.

Hide AdThe race was won by Stuart Spencer of Barrow Runners in 71:13.
There was a female winner of the Compton Verney Half Marathon on Sunday, with Kelsey Bragg overcoming the hills and heat - which saw ice lollies handed out on course - to clock 86:11.
Leamington C&AC’s Natalie Bhangal was second lady and fifth overall in 92:56, with clubmate Paul Okey seventh in 94:05.

Hide AdKenilworth Runners’ Sheela Hobden finished 14th lady in the Keswick to Barrow Ultra, a 42.7m off-road event.
Aiming to break nine hours, Hobden was very pleased with her time of 8:16.
Spa Striders’ Kate Gadsby and Bethan Gwynn competed at the Warwickshire County AA open graded meet, finishing the 3,000m in 11:51 and 12:04, respectively.
